Introduction to Remote Sensing
This document is an introduction to remote-sensing fundamentals. Along the way, it provides elements to discover topics in relation with RS, tools used, identified traps and possible analysis.
As it is still a work in progress, a bibliography is provided as an add-on. Just in case, an educational and bilingual resource: the tutorial of remote sensing from the Canadian government. (Keywords : Tutorial Canadian remote sensing resources). In addition to a large spectrum discovery, you will find some exercises and a downloadable version.
Finally, remote sensing is no longer limited to photo-interpretation of aerial or satellite images. However, this ability to analyze and read the real remains essential to our exploitation and our setting of automatic analysis tools. A part has been added for this purpose.
